The Model "B" is a single stroke machine capable of setting up to a #0 grommet. The Model "G" is a single stroke machine capable of setting up to a #2 grommet. Single stroke machines are used when the material is pre-punched or a pierce point bottom die is used. (See our DIE PAGE for details). The Model "F" is a very heavy duty machine capable of setting up to a #6 grommet. This machine comes in both single and double stroke versions. The double stroke machine punches a hole on the first revolution and sets the grommet on the second revolution. Grommet sizes can be easily changed on all three models by changing the raceway and setting tools. All USM grommet machines are completely rebuilt and set up with ring guard safety devices. All models are mounted to a table and come with a 110 volt motor.

This Rapid Eyelet Machine, is the fastest sequential eyeleter available today. This fully automatic machine punches, spaces, feeds and sets up to 300 eyelets per minute. Spacing between the eyelets is fully adjustable from 5/8 of an inch to 1 1/8 inches between the holes, in increments of 64ths of an inch. The machine can set eyelets up to 3/8 of inch hole diameter and a flange up to 5/8 of an inch. Eyelet sizes can be easily changed by changing the raceways and tooling. This machine can be used to make belts or do any job that requires eyelets set in a series. A shoe version of the machine is available for the footwear industry. A grommet and washer version is available to automatically punch and feed both the grommet and neck washer up to a size #0. As standard equipment the machine comes mounted to a table with a safety / noise enclosure. The Rapid Eyeleter can also be used to punch holes in leather. Various size round and oblong holes can be accommodated.

Designed especially for a range of eyelets having 3/16" thru 13/16" outside diameter: maximum flange diameter 1-3/8".

Hand Feed Capacity

This machine will set grommets as large as 1-1/4" outside diameter; approximately to 2" diameter flange (#8 Rolled Rim Grommet) or Eyelets of comparable size.

This machine first punches a hole and then on the second revolution sets an eyelet or grommet on the same tools. With a slight adjustment this machine can be used as a conventional single action type machine.
