Handy Plastic Snap Setter Instructions

 

The Handy Plastic Snap Setter Kit Includes:

1 - Snap Pliers
1 - Size 14/16 Cap Die (fits caps up to 11mm diameter)
1 - Size 20 Cap Die (fits caps up to 13.5mm diameter)
1 - Size 24/Larger Cap Die (fits caps up to 17mm diameter)

2 - Setting Pins - Large Pin (end) For 20&24 Ligne Snaps

     Smaller Pin (end)for 16 Ligne size only

1 - Rubber Bushing - For use with both setting pins

1 - Screwdriver

1 - Awl (for poking holes into your fabric)
 

NOTE: Dies for these pliers are not the

Same as dies for other presses. All sizes are approximate

 

Step - 1 – Choose your size fastener

Step - 2 – place the bottom die in the tool

Loosen screw push in die tighten screw

 

Step - 3 -Punch hole in your fabric with awl provided.

Step - 4 -Push Cap/Eyelet into hole

Step - 5 -Put Socket or Stud over post.

Step - 6 -Place cap and socket into pliers with cap side down centered in bottom die

Squeeze, Repeat for Stud

Changing Setting Pin:

Remove setting pin screw & rubber bushing

Flip handle over, slide setting pin out of spring & lower snap setter.

select alternate setting pin and insert.

Replace setter pin spring, rubber bushing & screw

your ready to set.
